Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology of Pilomatrixoma
Abstract
Pilomatrixoma is a benign tumour of appendageal origin. Although it is a localized tumour, it may sometimes show aggressive behaviour. Rare cases of malignant pilomatrixoma have been reported. It may be confused with malignant tumours like basal cell carcinoma and benign lesions like reactive lymph node. Hence the correct diagnosis is important.
