35th European Congress of Cytology
35th European Congress of Cytology was held at Lisbon, Portugal from 27 Sep to 01 Oct 2009. The city of Lisbon, capital of Portugal has many similarities like India with its rich cultural and historic background. The great Vasco-de-Gama traveled to India and Columbus sailed to seek India from this city. Dr S Satyanarayana, Dr RGW Pinto and Dr Sandeep Mathur from India attended and presented papers at the Congress. Dr Kusum Kapila, our member now in Kuwait attended the meet and was the moderator of a symposium on Cytology of Infective lesions.
